Enjoy a list of some of my favorite spots in the Catskills! xo
PLACES TO STAY

One of the chicest places I’ve ever stayed in my life. Each room is a modern-style ‘cabin’. The property is, quite literally, located in the middle of nowhere.
The main cabin has a fully staffed kitchen, with mde to order breakfast, delicious lunch and a pre-fixed menu for dinner. The coursed dinner we had at the restaurant was easily the best meal we had on the trip. Enjoy the snuggly fireplace and full spa with steam room/sauna alongside their precious yoga room that looks out into the mountains.
Pricey, but worth every cent.

Transparently, I stayed here for a wedding, but I would absolutely come up to stay for a weekend. Their kitchen was absolutely insane. Property was perfectly charming and cabin-y. Equal parts romantic, cozy and gothic. Perfect for the early/late fall and summer months, but honestly would be beautiful to stay during all seasons.
Potentially more boujee than Piaule but I haven’t actually stayed here, I’ve just been to the property. Just Google it and you’ll get the vibe.

Stayed here with a friend in November and I fell in love. Such a cute and simple spot to stay. The hosts thought of anything you could possibly need. Coffee, Bose speaker, charming fireplace fully equipt with wood (and how to properly start a fire). The only downside is that there is no stovetop or anything to cook with. So, keep that in mind when you stay.
Cabins! Haven’t stayed but it looks super cute. Their restaurant was recommended by locals.
PLACES TO EAT
Super cute spot in Woodstock with a fresh, veg forward menu. In the summer enjoy eating on their outdoor patio.

A cute lil’ spot in Hudson. They advertise themselves as an Italian restaurant, but it’s not necessarily Italian. Good food, lots of pasta dishes on the menu, but expect lots of vegetables, a great atmosphere and great service.
Haven’t been but has been highly recommended by locals. I think it’s under the same ownership as Silvia.
A more casual dinner spot that has a small menu with produce from the farm on the Orchard. You can find a full bar, inside seating and plenty of space to chill outdoors on the property. Kid friendly, lots of picnic tables and fire cauldrons.

A MUST! Seriously the most charming diner that has a vintage aesthetic and delicious food. You can’t go wrong with this spot, there’s something on the menu for everyone. (I’ve heard their Bloody Mary’s are amazing).
A cute little coffee/bagel spot in Woodstock. Right across the street from Silvia and walking distance from all the good shopping. Great for a Saturday morning. They have a ton of outdoor seating.
Haven’t ate here but it looks delicious and the front desk at Piaule recommended it.
SHOP/THINGS TO DO
A ton of goods from local artists! Think tarot decks, jewlerey, gifts, clothing, natural body care and more. I bought the cutest sleep mask and necklace from this spot.
Kaaterskill Market (Hudson)
Literally you guys, if I had my own store, it would be this one. Every single piece in here is incredible. It’s witchy and weird and gothic and sexy and beautiful and…you just need to go.
Boutiques like this made me wish I played guitar and listened to The Beatles more. Catch yourself browsing a perfectly curated vintage selection alongside sexy electric guitars.

Home decor with spunk. Idk how else to describe it. If you are an Aquarius, this store will be your Super Bowl.

A hot yoga studio in Hudson. Dark room, good atmosphere, approachable sequences and a nice place to get a sweat in while you’re there.
A gorgeous hike that isn’t too intense. If you hike the actual falls, it can get a little steep on the way back up from the bottom of the falls, but gorgeous and worth it. If you’re into more of a trail walk vibe, surrounding trails will give you that option.
